It's amazing how prayer and life works. Yesterday, I was saying how I needed a miracle. The same night I get a call from my district saying the schools are shut down and we don't have to report to work.
Now, this is a bit of a double-edged sword. The reason the district and other surrounding districts are shutting down is because of a hurricane. Although it's not directly hitting us first, there's this crazy amount of rainfall accompanying the storm that will supposedly hit us. And, if any of you know anything about Houston, well, the poor city floods in certain areas.
With that knowledge and this "extra day" I was granted, I just kept hearing a voice say in my spirit: "Don't Waste the Day."
I seriously have to make this one, and the rest, count. I have to stop stalling when it comes to my endeavors, whining when it comes to challenges, and kick it up a notch.
Nothing will stop me. Not this Hurricane Harvey, a little back pain, or whatever else. It's time to go all in. It's time to stop making excuses and put my best foot forward. Now is the time to do the things I've always wanted, and it starts by making the most of each day. Hurricane or not.
