239. Ask For What You Want

The day started rough. We're talking stomach bug, feeling all out of wack, not getting much work done, you name it. I also was still a little down, being hard on myself after watching the story of those millionaire 30-year-olds.

But something happened. There was a shift. A new chapter started and I somehow got my second wind.

Between Pepto Bismal, a glass of ginger ale, some crackers and one phone call, my day transitioned from abysmal to amazing.

Although I couldn't physically move all that much, I indulged in some things I felt I could manage, considering the state I was in. I was still able to post my blog, put an inspirational message in a Facebook group I'm in, and I connected with a fellow member of a mastermind group.

But honestly, the best part of the day came when I received an answer to a question I've had.

I don't care what anyone says, God is real. I know He's real. I just cannot explain how in one minute I can ask God to give me direction and in the next moment I receive the answer that I am looking for, whether it's in a book, journal, someone's text message, whatever.

This is why I wholeheartedly believe that if we ask, we shall receive. If we humble ourselves, stop talking and listen, it's amazing the messages we can intercept.

I do not have all the answers, none of us do. I just simply use this blog as an encouragement piece on this journey we call life. There are days I feel unsure and just as lost as the next person. However, when I ask God for help, everything becomes clear. I feel reassured and confident in my journey. I am led by my faith.

Whatever you're going through, don't panic. Ask God for guidance, quiet your spirit, and listen for the answer. Trust me, it's coming.
