224. The Power of Living With Passion

For the past 30 days or so, I've been working behind the scenes to build a business and write books. Although adventurous and fulfilling, the journey isn't easy by any stretch of the imagination, and at times you'll be tempted to throw in the towel.

That's why when I heard a message about living with passion, it made me sit higher in my chair and listen with burning ears.

Peep the notes:

  • Passion brings focus.

  • Living a life of passion will symbolically keep you awake at night.

  • When a person has passion, it consumes them.

  • Find a passion that's worth your energy.

  • Don't hide your blessing so people, especially young people, can see your example.

  • Passion will cause sleepless nights

  • Be consumed with building character and pouring into people (I really like that one)

  • It's hard to get weary and give up when you have passion.

  • Living a life of passion will cause you to sacrifice.

  • You may go through challenging times and may have to sacrifice things along the way. It will pay off in the end.

  • Is there anything you want so bad that you're willing to sacrifice all your time, resources, popularity? Are you willing to lose it all?

  • Accomplish something great in your life.

  • Living a life of sacrifice compels you to try again.

  • With passion, you're less likely to give up.

Everything that I've been writing about so far is simply one person's journey of wanting to be great. Of one person whose mistakes threatened to stop my progress.

Operating in your gift and living a life of passion are not cliche phrases. They are truth. Without purpose and passion, your actions may seem like mindless routines without direction. Add purpose and intention to your action by finding something that you want to accomplish and pursuing it with everything that's within you.

Thank you Pastor Devaughn for the timely message!
