It's the third quarter of the year already. Time flies when you're having fun, right? I know for me it is. Every day I set out to accomplish my goals, armed with a to do list and a persevering spirit. I can honestly say that this year has been productive and I'm just getting started.
In the first and second quarter I:
Finished two books
Began querying agents for my debut novel
Began building a new e-learning enterprise
Joined two networks
Started attending meetups
Recovered after a major procedure
Celebrated my second wedding anniversary
Balanced my dreams of writing and my teaching career
This quarter, I'm looking for tangibles. I understand that the process of building a successful business or writing career is not something that happens overnight, but I'm willing to put in the time and effort to get to where I'm going.
My major goals for this quarter:
Successfully launch my e-learning business
Get published in publications
Attend conferences to network/build relationships
Continue to write every single day
Securing an agent would be cool too
Finish editing my second book
There is so much that I want to accomplish, but I know it takes one step at a time, one day at a time.
Half the year is already gone. It's time to step up our game. Let's refocus. Start with these questions:
What are your third quarter goals?
Are you on track with the goals you've set at the beginning of the year? If not, what are the actions we need to take to get there?
