198. Living the Life

This week has been phenomenal. Phenomenal, I say! One would say I'm living the life. Did I purchase a new home? No. Go on an amazing trip? Nope. Come into a fortune, perhaps? Not quite. I got something a little better than all of those things put together:

Personal freedom.

Hey, I'm not hard to please. In fact, it's the simple things that put a smile on my face. That's why waking up every single day doing what I want to do has been the most satisfying feeling that I've had in a while.

Usually, I'd be working during summer school. Not this summer. I decided to dedicate myself to my craft, finish my book and work on my e-learning startup. I am savoring each moment. As a matter of fact, I'm documenting this time so I'll be able to refer back to it once I have this opportunity on a much regular basis.

Wake up and do as you please!

There's nothing more rewarding than being able to decide your day. To not have to worry about stressful commutes, conflicts at work, or any other distraction in the outside world. Maybe you don't mind those sort of things, but for me I am much more concerned about having agency over my own time -- crazy I have to even write that.

What would having more time look like for you?
