If there's one thing that I know for sure -- besides the fact that change is the only constant in the universe -- is that life will not always happen the way you anticipate. Some of us believe that by the time we reach a certain age, our life will magically appear exactly the way we've dreamed it to be. Some of us think that if we haven't achieved a certain milestone that somehow we're failures. This is not the truth. In fact:
The goals, dreams, and visions that we do possess have the opportunity to manifest, but the process by which manifestation occurs will not necessarily be as easy as we'd hope.
I sort of cringe when I think about that because, hey, what sane person rejoice when faced with problems on this uphill climb that we call life? Yeah, I don't know those folks either. However, I do know people who don't just give up when challenges arise.
I've talked about what happens when challenges arise on this blog before, and one thing I've noticed about people who are resilient in the face of a challenge, is that they are more likely to see every dream come to pass. They:
Don't give up
Forgive themselves for their mistakes
Keep chipping away at their goals
Constantly place one foot in front of the other
Get out of bed when they may not want to
Are consistent in their daily tasks.
