I'm still in the process of rebuilding my author website and I must say: I am so pleased. No, I'm not a professional designer, but I really love Squarespace and how easy/functional the web-building site is. With that being said, I'm still on my Launch a Bestseller journey, and one important thing I've done in the process of rebuilding is change my profile photo.
The new site behind the scenes. The new profile pic is display to the right.
According to book marketing expert Tim Grahl, it is important that your profile photo match on all social media accounts, including your website. The consistency makes you easily identifiable as users explore your information from one medium to the next.
I've also learned that having the same profile photo updated on all social media accounts at one time enhances your brand, which is why I'm not going to wait until the new year to make the change. A new site, a new photo, a new opportunity with my writing career.
Well, time for me to resume my duties. Although this site is taking me some time to redo, I'm enjoying the process. I understand that this journey is just that, and I'm savoring each moment along the way.
